Dr. Erin Martin was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Midwestern University. She was named an All-American Scholar and has been recognized by her peers for her commitment to podiatry and her community. Dr. Martin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 2003 and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree in 2009, both from Midwestern University. She continued on to complete a three-year residency training program at the Carl T. Hayden VAMC where she was trained extensively in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle aliments as well as surgical management of all foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Martin is proud to practice podiatric medicine in her home town for the past 5 years. She is an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University and as an attending physician to residents in training at the Carl T. Hayden VAMC. She has received several awards for her dedication to research and continues to do research in private practice today.
Dr. Martin serves on the staff at Honor Health’s Shea campus and enjoys educating individuals in the management and prevention of complications due to diabetes through their community lecture series. Dr. Martin has been extensively trained and specializes in the management of all foot and ankle conditions. She performs reconstructive procedures for complex foot and ankle conditions, including total ankle replacements. She has extensive background in treating complex non-healing wounds and has published several studies related to wound healing.
Dr. Martin is an empathetic and caring physician who is passionate about treating individual’s unique conditions and returning them to excellent foot and ankle health. She spends most of her time outside of her clinic with her children and husband exploring the beautiful state of Arizona.
